Early clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company
Our mission is to provide new hope for patients with aggressive cancers.
Vona Oncology develops targeted therapeutics for cancers that have outrun standard treatment — starting with triple-negative breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and melanoma.
Focus
Targeted therapeutics for the cancers that resist them most.
Vona Oncology is an early clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing targeted therapeutics to treat aggressive cancers such as triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), ovarian cancer, and melanoma. TNBC is our initial indication for our small molecule drug, VDX-431.

Business summary
Building toward clinical proof, and beyond.
Vona Oncology is focused on the development and commercialization of our lead compound, VDX-431. Our immediate objective is the completion of IND-enabling studies and demonstration of early clinical-phase efficacy in the treatment of TNBC.
Our long-term vision is to grow Vona Oncology into a cutting-edge drug discovery and development company that can turn novel biological insights in cancer biology into actionable clinical treatments. Vona Oncology has raised $3.3M in non-dilutive funds to date.
Product
VDX-431
VDX-431 is a small-molecule, well-tolerated drug that will establish a novel class of targeted therapy for the treatment of TNBC, ovarian cancer, and melanoma. Studies from our research team have provided proof-of-concept that VDX-431 is an efficacious therapeutic for all three cancers in pre-clinical cell and animal models.
Compelling pre-clinical data
Strong pre-clinical efficacy across three aggressive cancers.
Cell killing
Our studies have demonstrated strong efficacy of VDX-431 in killing TNBC cells in vitro.
Tumor blockade
VDX-431 blocks TNBC tumor growth in vivo, building on the in vitro evidence of cancer-cell killing.
Path to the clinic
Our ongoing research is focused on IND-enabling studies to advance VDX-431 toward first-in-human clinical trials for TNBC.
Development pipeline
VDX-431 — where we are today.
Our lead compound is advancing through IND-enabling studies for triple-negative breast cancer. Each completed stage builds the evidentiary foundation for first-in-human trials.
